On Saturday I was given this cute little hen from 'Vintage Vicki.' He is currently on his travels around blogland! He originally came from http://pennyshenhouse.blogspot.com/ and will be making his way back there again at Christmas. So he is here with us for a week! Yesteday he went to the Buddha Market in Southwold. He sat on the desk, had a ride on a rocking horse and a quick peek at my stall!
Today he went to Felixstowe to the beach hut and sat on the groynes watching the choppy sea!

Whilst there was a little bit of sunshine I took some photos of my favourite swimsuits I have at the moment. I am in the process of setting up a website up and also need to update my Etsy shop so need lot of photos! I managed to get a few shots today despite the wind and a 4 and 6 year old wanting their lunch!

Ernest will be staying with us for a week. I will put a momento in his box and then send him on to the next blogger. If there are any volunteers out there who wish to take care of him next please let me know and I will send him on to you!

  1. Love these retro looking bathing suits. Ernest is quite cute.
    Hugs, andrea

  2. Looks like he's settled in well :)

His twin brother arrived here today via ebay!!

)))mad 12 year olds with cuddly toy addictions((

  3. Hope Ernest is behaving himself.
Have you ever been to the Emporium at Thorpeness? It is run along similar lines to the Buddha Market but is open all year (except January).
There is one stall dedicted to all things sea-sidey, I think.

  4. my boy looks content there by the sea !

  5. I lived in Felixtowe many years ago, but only made it down to the sea about twice...... What lovely vintage costumes in your post.

Ernest would be made most welcome here in South Gloucestershire....

  6. Ernest still most welcome with us for a little while, and it's even sunny here in Northern Ireland- at the minute!

  7. has Ernest moved on yet ? - love an anxious mom xx

  8. Oh! I love the nautical flags suit. Very nice!
