Aldeburgh Bathing Hut

There was an article in the local paper this week about this bathing hut. It is located in Aldeburgh and up to this week it had been on the beach near Moot Hall. However it has now been removed so it can be restored to its former glory. It is owned by Aldeburgh museum and they plan to raise money and assemble a team of volunteers and local craftsmen to totally restore it. Then it will be returned to the beach and used for educational purposes. It's very exciting.

We are off down to Cornwall this week and will be staying in a chalet in the sand dunes of Hayle. We are catching the train down which should be an adventure. Fingers crossed for good weather.

  1. Hope you have a good time, that's quite a train journey. I have taken a pic of this Beach Hut I didn't realise it had been moved. The beach must look a bit odd without it.
